Anjuna beach is one of the most popular beaches in Goa. It has an unusual arrangement of red laterite rocks, spread across the white sands, known as the Jewel of Anjuna. The beauty of the white waves rushing to embrace the pale golden sand on the beach can be witnessed in full form at Anjuna beach. Location Access : Anjuna Beach is situated to the north of Baga Beach at a distance of 09 kms from Mapusa, 18 kms from Panaji and 47 kms from Dabolim airport.

Attractions Nearby : The main attractions of Anjuna Beach are the magnificent Albuquerque Mansion built in 1920 (flanked by octagonal towers and an attractive Mangalore tile-roof), the Mascarenhas Mansion, Chapora Fort and Wednesday Flea Market. The Chapora Fort gives a splendid view of the nearby Anjuna and Vagator beaches.

How to Reach: There are buses every hour to Anjuna from Mapusa and Panaji. One can also hire a motorcycle or a taxi to reach Anjuna.
