beaches lie, north of city, untouched by
expansion and industrialization. The
Beach is situated in Mumbai Suburban
district. The beach is nearest to Mumbai
and its bustling crowds.
The sunrises and sunsets here are
enhanced by the hill ranges that frame the
Marve is the closest and quietest. This
lovely fishing village has beautiful
bungalows and wide clean beaches. A little
further away are the more popular beaches
of Gorai and Manori.
Marve Beach is located in the Western
Suburb of Malad in the city of Mumbai,
India. It connects the Essel World
(Amusement Park) and Madh Island to the
city through the Ferry Service.
There is one ancient Portuguese Church at
Marve and a grove of Cashew nut trees that
add to the beauty of this beach.
Along with Marve and Manori Beaches there
is Gorai Beach which too is equally
popular among revelers.
These three locales are inhabited by
Catholic natives of Mumbai, and the kind
of attire they wear along with old
churches make the region resemble to that
of Goa's aura.
